“What if you could pick one day of your life,
and everything would stop changing,
every day would be similar
and comparable to that one day,
you'd always have the same people with you?
If you could do that, would you do it?
Would you pick that day and make that choice?
We crave for things to stop changing,
we wish that things would never change.
But if we got what we wanted,
there are so many things that are better,
that we would never, ever know about.
Sure, things would stay the same as that one wonderful day,
but then there would be nothing else out there, ever.
So can you remember the very first day
when everything really did begin to change?
Is there a thing that can remind you?
Mine is a blue rose,
and that's when everything began to change
because that's the day I began to believe in things
I never believed in before;
the day I found three blue roses.
Think about your first day of change,
can you remember all the new heights you've soared since that day?
All the new people?
All the better things and times?
Would you throw all of that time away?
I wouldn't. Instead,
I want to finally accept all the things that I couldn't change,
which led to me being right here, right now.
Maybe we all carry around inside us
one day we wish we could keep forever,
something we wished never did change.
It's time to let go of that day,

and soar.”

“I think humans might be like butterflies;
people die every day
without many other people knowing about them,
seeing their colors, hearing their stories...
and when humans are broken,
they're like broken butterfly wings;
suddenly there are so many beauties
that are seen in different ways,
so many thoughts and visions and possibilities that form,
which couldn't form when the person wasn't broken!
So it is not a very sad thing to be broken, after all!
It's during the times of being broken,
that you have all the opportunities
to become things unforgettable!
Just like the broken butterfly wing that I found,
which has given me so many thoughts,
in so many ways,
has shown me so many words, and imaginations!
But butterflies need to know,
that it doesn't matter at all if the whole world saw their colors or not!
But what matters is that they flew,
they glided, they hovered, they saw, they felt, and they knew!
And they loved the ones whom they flew with!
And that is an existence worthwhile!”

Every time we don’t stand down
the primary abusers in our lives,
we lose a little ground,
we fade into the night,
we die a little inside.
Rising above it may be a temporary balm,
but, at some point,
we have to come back into our bodies and speak it.
As important as it is to reach a stage
of genuine forgiveness where possible,
it is even more important
to assert boundaries with those
who have violated ours.
It may well be why they came into our lives-
to force us to recognize

and claim our own value.

" A positive attitude gives you power
over your circumstances
instead of your circumstances
having power over you."

Don’t let past relationships ruin your future.
Don’t let someone or something
that didn’t make it in your life continue to hurt you.
If you do,
you’re still giving a portion of your life
to something that no longer exists –
it’s like letting your happiness slip into a black hole.
Learn the lesson,
release the pain,
and move on.
Scars remind us of where we have been,
not where we are headed.

I shall find you in my dreams...
for it is there where you always reside it seems.
When I lay my head down
it is under my eyelids where you are found…
so as I kiss the moon goodnight,
I know all will be alright...
for even though you can't lie next to me.
Soon I know it shall be
that your shoulder will replace my pillow…
one day and in your arms I will sleep away...
so I bid you goodnight my dear,
till the day a bed we may finally share.

There comes a time
when the pain of continuing
exceeds the pain of stopping.
At that moment,
a threshold is crossed.
What seemed unthinkable becomes thinkable.
Slowly, the realization emerges
that the choice to continue what you have been doing
is the choice to live in discomfort,
and the choice to stop what you have been doing
is the choice to breathe deeply and freely again.
Once that realization has emerged,
you can either honor it or ignore it,
but you cannot forget it.
What has become known

can not become unknown again.

Beauty isn't in the clothes you wear,
or the way you look.
It's in your eyes,
your smile,
and your laugh.
It's the way you breathe in life,
and the way you chase after what you want.
Beauty is living in spite of everything
out there that tries to pull you down.

There comes a time
when the world gets quiet
and the only thing left is your own heart.
So you’d better learn the sound of it.
Otherwise,
you’ll never understand what it’s saying.

- SIMPLE LITTLE THINGS -

I like a simple little house

With flowers by the door,

An ample larder for my needs

And not much more in store.

I like a window toward the sun

And doors that open wide,

The trickle of a bath for birds

With feathered friends beside.

I like a tidy nook inside

Where my books and slippers lie,

A cup for tea, a magazine,

And warming hearth nearby.

I like some trinkets on the sills,

White ruffles at the panes,

The comfort of a sturdy roof

To shelter me from rains.

I like the Cozy ambience,

A place of sweet retreat

Where life unfolds along the way

And each new day's a treat.

"The reason people find it so hard to be happy

is that they always see the past better than it was,

the present worse than it is,

and the future less resolved than it will be."

- STOP COMPARING -

Stop comparing where you’re at with whereeveryone else is. It doesn’t move you farther ahead, improve your situation, or help you find peace. It just feeds your shame, fuels your feelings of inadequacy, and ultimately, it keeps you stuck.

The reality is that there is no one correct path in life. Everyone has their own unique journey. A path that’s right for someone else won’t necessarily be a path that’s right for you. And that’s okay. Your journey isn’t right or wrong, or good or bad. It’s just different.

Your life isn’t meant to look like anyone else’s

because you aren’t like anyone else. You’re a

person all your own with a unique set of goals,

obstacles, dreams, and needs.

So stop comparing, and start living. You may not

have ended up where you intended to go. But

trust, for once, that you have ended up where

yo

needed to be. Trust that you are in the right place

at the right time. Trust that your life is enough.

Trust you are enough.

- RIGHT AND WRONG -

There actually is no real right and wrong,
there are just different choices at different times,
and a choice that we may make today,
may change dramatically
and we will choose something
completely different down the track.
This is called Growth
and if we keep on feeling and acting
the same way forever and a day,

then we will stagnate and stop evolving.
his is always our choice as well of course
as no one is making us evolve and grow.
It's all our own personal choices,
like everything else.

Everyone is at a different stage
and so there just isn't one size that fits all...
except for unconditional love...
so instead of giving someone a piece of your mind,

give them a piece of your Heart...

They may not accept it,

but you'll feel so much better for your actions.

He comes to me when I'm feelin' down
Inspires me without a sound
He touches me and I get turned around

He's got a way of showin'

How I make him feel

And I find the strength to keep on goin'

He's got a light around him

And everywhere he goes

A million dreams of love surround him

Everywhere...

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It turns denial into acceptance,
chaos to order,
confusion to clarity.
It can turn a meal into a feast,
a house into a home,
a stranger into a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past,
brings peace for today,

and creates a vision for tomorrow."

"Men are terrified of a woman's depth of love
and the energy that moves
as a woman's sexuality and emotions.
And, at the same time,
men want nothing more in this life
than to merge completely
with a woman's devotional love and wild energy.
Only as a man outgrows his fear
can he handle a woman's tremendous love-energy without running.
And only such a man is worthy
of your devotional offering
in a committed intimacy."

"Speak quietly to yourself
& promise there will be better days.
Whisper gently to yourself
and provide assurance
that you really are extending your best effort.
Console your bruised and tender spirit
with reminders of many other successes.
Offer comfort in practical and tangible ways..
as if you were encouraging your dearest friend.
Recognize that on certain days
the greatest grace is that the day is over
and you get to close your eyes.

Tomorrow comes more brightly"

"Sail beyond the horizon;
fly higher than you ever  possible;
magnify your existence by helping others;
be kind to people and animals of all shapes and sizes;
be true to what you value most;
shine your light on the world;

and be the person you
were born to be."

Blake Beattie
